Habitat Orange County, NC onsite COVID Protocols (Effective 3/10/22)

Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, NC has updated its COVID protocols with the following policies:

• For all people coming to site, you will need one of the following:

A) Proof of a full dosage of Vaccination completed two weeks prior to your shift, or

B) A negative COVID Test completed within 72 hours of the start of your shift.

• Regarding masks:

o Masks are not required by any volunteer working outdoors.

o Masks are not required working indoors, so long as volunteers and staff are comfortable and have reached a consensus.

• When working indoors, the staff/volunteer capacity is 6 individuals at any given time.

• We reserve the right to amend these policies whenever deemed appropriate by Habitat Orange County. When registering for your VolunteerHub profile, there will be a YES/NO question regarding your vaccination status, as well as an opportunity for you to upload a picture of your card to your VolunteerHub profile. You can also email Volunteer Engagement Manager Ansel Prichard a picture of them at aprichard@orangehabitat.org. Or, you can text him a picture to 469-999-2592.

If you need to send us a COVID test result, you can either email or text that to Ansel, preferably the night before your shift. And as always, anyone is welcome to wear a mask onsite if you feel it is necessary.

If you find this policy does not work for you, either because it is too strict or too loose, we totally understand that and respect your decision to stay home. We hope that you will return when our rules and your risk level are back in line
