About Neighbors with Northside

For the first time in over a decade, downtown companies and residents have the opportunity to partner with Habitat for Humanity to sponsor new homes in the heart of Chapel Hill. Through the Neighbors with Northside collaboration, one local family will be able to  build and purchase a home of their own, leading to financial security and stability for generations to come.

Downtown Chapel Hill and the surrounding campus boasts beautiful historic buildings, homes and a thriving business community. The goal of this unique collaboration is to bring together students, downtown residents and businesses to help revitalize the neighboring Northside community. There are many opportunities to help on the construction of the home throughout the spring and summer of 2017. Participants will also raise $50,000 towards the $80,000 cost of materials for the home.  Money can be raised through personal or company donations, special fundraising events, give back nights, etc. Habitat is happy to collaborate with each group to determine what would work best for your needs.
