All volunteers on an active construction site must be at least 16 years old. For youth ages 16 and 17 please bring a signed Parental Consent Form with you to the site.
Individual Volunteers, our construction shifts on Friday and Saturday are 8am-Noon, 12:30pm-4:30pm, and 8am-4:30pm.
Groups of 8 or more should email sbourner@orangehabitat.org to arrange a group build day before signing up online.
“Wednesday and Friday Crews” are a group of regular volunteers who build during the week. Members of this team range from unskilled homeowner to professional construction worker. Many of these volunteers come every week. Others come monthly. Most of the crew are retired, self-employed, unemployed, or in school. The workday is 8:30am-4:30pm with lunch at noon. Week day volunteers are not required to notify us before going out to the worksite. If you are interested in joining the Wednesday or Friday crews please contact our office and we will add you to an email list.
