At Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, we build more than just homes; we cultivate a warm and inclusive work culture where everyone feels valued and welcomed. Our commitment to creating safe and supportive communities extends beyond the people we serve to our own team members. With a friendly and flexible approach, we recognize the importance of work-life balance and offer flexible work arrangements to accommodate individual needs. From our dedicated volunteers to our passionate staff, everyone contributes to our mission of providing affordable housing with a sense of camaraderie and purpose. Whether it’s through team-building activities, open communication channels, or ongoing professional development opportunities, we strive to create an environment where collaboration and innovation thrive. At Orange Habitat, we believe that our collective strength lies in our diversity, and we’re proud to foster a workplace where everyone can bring their whole selves to work and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Remembering that our mission is bigger than ourselves, we recognize that we always have more to learn and that success depends on others.
We do what is right, even if it is difficult or unpopular, by having honest conversations, valuing diverse perspectives, and boldly acting to further Habitat’s mission.
We take personal responsibility for Habitat’s mission by acting with integrity, putting forth our best work, and learning from success and failure.
Habitat employs over 35 people and continues to grow as we look to serve more people in Orange County.

Habitat for Humanity has an open-door policy. All who believe that everyone needs a decent, affordable place to live are welcome to help with the work, regardless of race, religion, age, gender, political views, or any of the other distinctions that too often divide people. In short, Habitat welcomes volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds and also serves people in need of decent housing regardless of race or religion. As a matter of policy, Habitat for Humanity International and its affiliated organizations do not proselytize. This means that Habitat will not offer assistance on the expressed or implied condition that people must either adhere to or convert to a particular faith, or listen and respond to messaging designed to induce conversion to a particular faith.
