Join the Hope Builders Society by making an automatic monthly gift. Monthly donors provide dependable support that allows us to plan ahead and build more homes throughout the year.
To set up a recurring donation, visit our online giving page, and select “Recurring donation” (located near the top, just under “Gift amount” and to the right of “One-time donation”). You can give with a credit or debit card or directly through your bank account (EFT).
Pay tribute to your friends and family with an honor or memorial gift. Habitat will send a greeting card to your loved ones in recognition of your gift. Make your gift on our online giving page and note who should receive the card in the Additional Comments section.

Create a lasting impact for future generations by including Orange Habitat in your estate plans. A legacy gift helps ensure that local families will continue to have opportunities for safe, affordable homeownership for years to come.
There are many ways to leave a legacy, including naming Orange Habitat as a beneficiary in your will or trust, retirement account, life insurance policy, or other financial assets. Many planned gifts can be made without affecting your finances during your lifetime.
Donating through your Donor Advised Fund (DAF) or Individual Retirement Account (IRA) are great investment strategies for you while also providing funds for Orange Habitat.
Based on various factors, these options may also be tax-free and help you reach your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) for a year. Your financial or tax advisor can provide you with up-to-date information.

You can give directly through any employer that participates in workplace giving.
To give through United Way of the Greater Triangle, simply write in “Habitat for Humanity of Orange County” on the Additional Giving Options section of your pledge form.
Matching Gifts: If your employer matches charitable contributions to 501(c)(3) organizations, you can double or triple your gift. Contact your HR department for more information.

Donate new and gently used furniture, appliances, building materials, and household goods to our ReStores. In the Triangle area, Habitat for Humanity has ten ReStore locations. Two are in the Orange County area: one in Durham-Chapel Hill off 15-501 and another in Hillsborough off US-70 and N Churton Street.
