Our History

Habitat for Humanity International Founder Millard Fuller visited Binkley Baptist Church in 1981, speaking about his dreams of providing shelter for all of God’s children. This visit would begin the process of establishing a Habitat for Humanity affiliate in Orange County, which would become official in 1984.

Over the past 40 years, Orange Habitat has served over 500 families in Orange County through its new home construction and home repair work.

Breakfast Event

On February 13, 2024, Habitat for Humanity of Orange County hosted a breakfast and panel discussion to talk about the past, present, and future of Orange Habitat. Panelists included current President and CEO Jennifer Player, former Executive Director Susan Levy, and Habitat International CEO Jonathan Reckford.
