Applications for Weavers Grove: Open Through February 22nd
Habitat for Humanity is currently accepting applications for the Spring 2024 cycle of its homeownership program for townhomes and duplexes in Weavers Grove, a first-of-its-kind mixed-income community in Chapel Hill. Since Habitat will be building 102 homes in Weavers Grove over the next four years, there will be many opportunities to apply for a Habitat home in this neighborhood.
Requirements for the Habitat homeownership program include that applicants have lived or worked in Orange County for at least the past 12 months, are first-time homebuyers, and are able to afford one of our home loans which will not exceed 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
Spread the word that applications for the current cycle will be closing soon and encourage people to apply if they meet the qualifications. Applications for Market-Rate homes through Garman Homes and White Oak Properties will be managed directly through the builders.
Applications will close on February 22 at 5 pm. Click here to learn more.
