The Triangle Habitat Young Professionals (THYP), a lively group of young professionals passionate about making a difference in the Orange, Durham, and Wake County communities. Through opportunities within our community and our affiliate partners, our goal is to push affordable housing solutions forward while also catering to your professional growth.

There are many reasons why you should join this group beyond being able to make a tangible impact by dedicating your time and resources to supporting Orange Habitat’s mission. Other benefits of joining the Triangle Young Professionals also includes professional development opportunities, opportunity to advocate for action on affordable housing issues in your community, special construction volunteer opportunities, and discounts to Orange Habitat events.

“Habitat has shaped so much of who I am and after leading UNC Chapel Hill and the collegiate club, which gave me some of my favorite people and ultimately my purpose, I saw Triangle Habitat Young Professionals as a natural next step in my Habitat journey,” said Courtland Bartosik, President of the Young Professionals. “For me, it is so much more than a nonprofit who builds homes; it’s an opportunity to have a tangible impact and make a serious difference in my community.”
