Corporate Spotlight: Bank of America

December 17, 2024

At Habitat for Humanity, we are honored to partner with organizations that share our commitment to building stronger, more sustainable communities. Bank of America has been a steadfast supporter, and we’re thrilled to highlight their incredible contributions to our mission.

In 2025, Bank of America is returning as the presenting sponsor of our CEO Build, set to take place on May 2. Their support plays a pivotal role in bringing together local leaders to build homes in Orange, Wake, and Durham counties. Last month, we hosted a breakfast panel to officially kick off this event and recruit new companies to get involved.

Bank of America’s dedication to empowering communities extends far beyond financial support. In October, Habitat staff members had the privilege of attending a leadership development conference as part of the Neighborhood Builders program which we were awarded in 2023. The program equips nonprofit leaders with the tools and skills needed to drive change, covering topics like financial sustainability, human capital management, and strategic storytelling. Through this initiative, we joined a national network of organizations striving to create lasting impact. In addition to professional development, the Neighborhood Builders program also provides $200,000 of unrestricted funding to help organizations thrive.

Bank of America’s commitment to affordable housing reaches beyond grants and sponsorships and extends to the construction site. Local Bank of America employees have rolled up their sleeves to volunteer on our construction sites multiple times this year through their Global Build Program. Their hands-on contributions are a testament to their commitment to making a difference, one home at a time.

Thank you, Bank of America, for your time and dedication to Habitat!
