EmpowerHer Women Build Launch Party: September 12
Calling all women looking to get more involved with Orange Habitat! Women Build will host this year’s EmpowerHer Launch Party on the evening of Thursday, September 12. It’s a great chance to learn about Women Build, including how you can volunteer with the group, spread the word, and help us raise $40,000 to support female-led households.
Women Build is entering its 17th year in Orange County. Each year in March, we join Habitat affiliates nationwide to observe National Women Build Week. It is a special week as we also simultaneously honor International Women’s Day on March 8 and Women in Construction Week. Orange Habitat will celebrate the week by hosting its 2nd annual Mega Building Bash. We also host other Women Build volunteer shifts, events, and fundraisers throughout the year. We invite you to join our launch party to help us kick off the start of our 2024/2025 Women Build season.
The EmpowerHer Women Build Launch Party will be held on Thursday, September 12, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at The PITCH in Chapel Hill. Purchase your ticket for this fun evening, which includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, your first drink, early access to sign up for a construction volunteer shift, and the chance to sing your favorite karaoke jams! Tickets start at just $20 per person or $75 for a Girl’s Night Out bundle of 4.
Purchasing a ticket to the September 12th launch party by August 6 will also get you one entry into an exciting VIP concert experience! The winner of this raffle will win four VIP tickets and one parking pass to see Train and REO Speedwagon at Coastal Credit Union Music Park on Friday, August 9. Individual raffle tickets starting at $25 are also available for purchase.
