About ten years ago, anyone who walked down Odie Street in Hillsborough would see broken down housing, incised ditches, overgrown invasive vegetation and, at times, a flooded road. Now, cottage style homes line the street, many with solar panels on their roofs. Through a collaborative, community-driven process, the ditches have been transformed into bioswales and treatment swales as part of the Odie Street Green Infrastructure project.
