Volunteer Spotlight: Melissa Beyle
Melissa Beyle’s journey with Habitat for Humanity began while she was a student at UNC Chapel Hill. She was a co-chair of the UNC Habitat student club and graduated in 2018. Since then, Melissa has continued her involvement with Habitat, now serving as a co-chair of the Women Build Committee.
Over the past year, Melissa has demonstrated exceptional dedication to the Women Build program. She organized a successful give-back fundraiser with a local business, raised over $500 through peer-to-peer fundraising, and volunteered at three Women Build shifts. She even brought her mom along to one of the builds pictured here.
Melissa’s contributions extend beyond fundraising and volunteering. She designed this year’s new Women Build t-shirt (which can be yours with a $50 donation), showcasing her creativity and commitment to the cause.
Join Melissa and other volunteers at the rescheduled Women Build Mega Building Bash on May 11th. This special event promises fun and impact, including a DJ, drum line, balloon arch, and an engaging lunch program. Click here to sign up to join us.
Thank you, Melissa, for your unwavering dedication and contributions to Habitat for Humanity!
