Weavers Grove: A Year In Review
2025 has been a milestone-filled year for the development of Weavers Grove in Chapel Hill. Together with our partners, Orange Habitat made significant progress toward building a vibrant, mixed-income community—one that continues to take shape both through new homes and growing connections among neighbors.
So far this calendar year, Orange Habitat has closed on 21 new Habitat homes, marking an exciting step forward for families preparing to put down roots at Weavers Grove. At the same time, Garman Homes completed construction and sold all 40 single-family homes, and the first of White Oak Properties’ three condo buildings was officially completed, with units now available for sale.
Beyond construction milestones, Weavers Grove truly began to feel like a neighborhood this year. The completion of the dog park earlier this year created a new gathering place for residents, and a series of community-building events—including recent Trunk-or-Treat and a Turkey Trot—brought neighbors together to connect, celebrate, and build relationships.
As we look ahead to the coming year, even more milestones are on the horizon, from additional homes to continued opportunities for neighbors to come together. Weavers Grove is quickly becoming the inclusive, connected community we’ve envisioned—one home, one family, and one shared moment at a time.
