Women Build: Workday and Celebration

Join us for our next Women Build volunteer workday: no construction experience required! This program celebrates the vital role women play in construction, the trades, and affordable housing. All are welcome, regardless of gender identity or expression.

We’ll be working in Weaver’s Grove, our neighborhood-in-progress in northern Chapel Hill. You have the option to sign up for the morning shift (8:30 a.m.-1 p.m.) or afternoon shift (12-4 p.m.). From 12-1 p.m., the two shifts will overlap for an hour of celebration with lunch provided by Orange Habitat!

Hour of Celebration | 12-1 pm: Join us for food, community, and connection! We’ll provide lunch and share how the Women Build program supports our mission well beyond the job site.

Registration is Required: Space is limited so our construction crew can supervise and support every volunteer onsite. If a shift is full, we’re unable to accommodate walk-ins — so please sign up before you show up! All volunteers must register online prior to each shift.

Age Requirements: You must be 16 or older to volunteer. Volunteers under 18 must have a completed Parent & Guardian Waiver on file before their shift.
