Women Build: Join us in March

January 29, 2026

Orange Habitat is excited to announce that Women Build volunteer opportunities are back this March! Join us for a special build on Saturday, March 7, at Weavers Grove.

Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build program recruits, educates, and inspires women to build, fundraise, and advocate for stable and affordable homes in our communities. Women Build volunteers and fundraisers from all walks of life come together to strengthen neighborhoods and create safer, more resilient homes. Habitat affiliates across the country participate in National Women Build Week, coinciding with International Women’s Day, to encourage women to devote at least one day to the effort of creating affordable housing.

Orange Habitat also hosts other Women Build volunteer shifts and events throughout the year, offering multiple ways to get involved and make a lasting difference.

The build coming up in March is open to anyone, whether you are a seasoned volunteer or this is your first time joining us. Two shifts are available: morning (8:30 AM–12 PM) and afternoon (1 PM–4 PM). Volunteers ages 15 and up are welcome—bring your energy, friends, and family for a hands-on day of building, learning, and community impact.

No construction experience is required—Orange Habitat provides all tools, safety equipment, and instruction on-site. Sign up today to secure your spot for the Mega Building Bash or other Women Build opportunities and help build homes and hope at Weavers Grove.
